「江都名所」は天保3年頃（1832）から佐野屋喜兵衛（喜鶴堂）から刊行された全21枚のシリーズですが、早い摺りのものには赤い「喜霍堂」印がみられ、後に摺られたものには版元印が黒又は赤色の「佐野喜」印に替り、最後の摺りには版元印の無いものも見られます。この一枚の右下枠外には赤い「喜霍堂」印が確認でき、早い摺りであることがわかります。

''Edo (also Kôto) Meisho'' (Famous Places of Edo, or Famous places of the Bay Capital) is a series of 21 prints published by Sanoya Kihei (Kikakudô) from 1832 in the Tenpô era. While early prints have a red ''Kikakudô'' publisher's seal, later prints have instead a black or red ''Sanoki'' seal. Thereafter there are also some prints without the publisher's stamp. This print has a red ''Kikakudô'' seal in the right margin, indicating that it was printed early.
